Last night I had the privilege of shooting Athena + Jesse’s wedding. Athena is an old co-worker of mine from a few years back and we have stayed in contact over the past years and she has came to me with numerous questions as she has started into the world of photography. Its been so great to see her work progress as she has become more confident with her camera + abilities. Needless to say it was great shooting her wedding, as she was more focused in getting just a few great shots for the formals, rather than 100 mediocre shots. One of the highlights though was the make shift “photobooth” that we set up. It was a tone O fun as guest and bride got ahold of the props and just let it all out! Here are a few peaks…

A few days ago my life changed forever! My wonderful, amazing wife gave birth to our first child! A BEAUTIFUL baby GIRL. It was an interesting last 2 weeks…my wife Becca had been in and out of the hospital a few times with pre-term labour signs, even though she was only 34 weeks along…after being in the hospital for 4 nights the dr’s were finally happy enough to send us home, but we couldnt even go to our home in armstrong cuz it was to far away. So we ended up staying at my parents house for a few nights, and then ended up going in to the hospital again cuz we thought beccas water broke….but false alarm. That was however the same day that little baby Niko was born to my sister LeLoni and brother in-law Kyle. After being sent home again we were getting a little anxious as to what this baby was going to do, and we didnt have to wait to much longer. Saturday night we were headed to Kyle & Loni’s house when Becca’s water actually did break this time. So we rushed to the hospital, the dr. confirmed that it was her water that broke so we were admitted and started the wait. Sunday morning the dr came in and induced Becca to the the show on the road, after an hour and a half Becca started getting some big contractions and soon enough it was time to push. At 1:06pm on November the 28th, 2010 our precious little daughter was born!

Recently I just returned back to Canada from a 10 day trip to India and Sri Lanka, had a great time and learned a lot. Went with a pastor from a Church in Vancouver who was speaking to some churches in India and making some new contacts in Sri Lanka. It was a great time, and it was good to be back in India, as I was there 8 years ago. We spent a lot of time traveling around to different places, but I did manage to get some good pictures. Here is a panoramic I took from on top of a 6 storey building in Sri Lanka, which is a beautiful country. More to come soon…
